Updates to Terms

We are just setting up. Stay tuned for more in our terms and conditions! We may change these Terms and add additional terms by changing these terms of service. It is your responsibility to check the terms and conditions when you use our services as they may change.

Site Use

This site is intended for use within the USA by people over the age of 21.

Return Policy

We have a thirty (30) day return policy for refund credit or exchange (minus delivery charges).

Because tobacco is a product that is consumable, perishable, and subjective to taste, we cannot accept returns on tobacco products that have been opened or used, with the exception of incorrect shipment of product. We require return of items with for refund.

Other items, such as pipes and gift items are returnable within 30 days from date of the invoice. Returned items must be in new, sellable condition, with the exception of defect in the product. Only pipes that have not been smoked are eligible for return.

The thirty day return policy is counted up from the invoice date. If you need to arrange for a return let us know by contacting us at contact@racineandlaramie.com.

Shipping

We will call you with the freight total when we get your order information.

Generally, we ship with USPS. We always try to get orders out with efficiency. Weather delays, age verification, availability, and other issues are beyond our control and may cause potential delays in shipping. Feel free to contact us if you have concerns or would like to discuss shipping.

Currently, we ship to addresses in the USA. If you are outside of our current service area please contact us to discuss options.

Some states and countries have limitations and regulations on what may be purchased. We will do our best to inform you about such limitations, but we are not responsible for additional costs, difficulties, or purchase or delivery failure arising from regulations.

We are prohibited from shipping to Utah, Hawaii, or Mexico.

Other Costs, Fees and Taxes

In some cases there may be additional costs to receive our products. For example, shipping outside of the USA may incur import duties. Some states may require an adult’s signature upon delivery, requiring different shipping. Some states may have additional required taxes. There may be other situations that incur costs. We do our best to let you know if we are aware of situations that may require extra cost, but we are not responsible for extra costs, fees, or taxes.

Age Verification

In compliance with the law, we do not sell tobacco products to people under 21. In order to verify age we use a third party company called Melissa. If you purchase tobacco products from us we must verify your name, date of birth and address exactly as it appears on your government issued ID. Melissa is a secure service that uses public data records and sources to return an age validation based on the personal information you submit. 

In the unlikely event that we cannot verify you through the databases, we will attempt to contact you to verify your age. If this happens, we will need a copy of a government issued ID that verifies your age, such as a driver’s license. Once we receive confirmation we will be able to ship your order.

Pricing, Item Descriptions, and Typos

Offers valid while supplies last. Prices are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors. Prices will be confirmed and approved by customers before payment is processed.

We try to describe our products and prices accurately. However, we cannot warrant that information on this site is perfect, complete, reliable, or free from error. Your order to purchase may be rejected, in which case we will cancel the order and will refund you if payment has been made or not charge you if Racine and Laramie has not received payment. If you receive products from us and believe items are not as described your sole remedy is to submit the item for return, in alignment with our return policy.

Accounts and Posting

When you purchase online from Racine and Laramie, an account is created for you with information you give us. No credit card information is stored, but it may hold sensitive information such as your name, address, age, and order history. Accounts are protected by password. Account holders are responsible for preventing unauthorized use of their account.

Account holders may submit content to the site when they post reviews of purchased product. You retain ownership and responsibility for your content. We have the right to manage our service to keep its content appropriate. We may delete content that includes but is not limited to language or images that are offensive, harassing, political, exploitative, or is ‘spam’ or marketing another service. We are not obligated to monitor or enforce restrictions on user generated content.

Loss, Damage, Insurance

We are not responsible for losses or damages of any kind. With the exemption of what is not waivable by law, Racine and Laramie, employees, and company parties are in no way responsible or liable for loss or damage. If you would like full insurance please tell us.
